🎉We’ve Extended The Double Referral Bonus
The limited-time referral bonus designed to reward both you and the agents you bring onto RentHop Pro expires on May 31st.
When you refer another agent to any RentHop Pro Plan:
- You receive 100 Pro Credits when they sign up
- They receive 100 Pro Credits when they sign up
- You both earn 50 Pro Credits every month you stay active — for up to 5 months
That’s up to 350 bonus credits EACH — from a single referral.
How to claim:
- Stay subscribed to any RentHop Pro Plan
- Refer another agent to any Pro Plan
- Email support@renthop.com with your referral CC’d
- You both receive your credits and ongoing monthly bonuses*
*Bonus credits are awarded after the referral signs up. Monthly credit bonus requires continuous active subscriptions for both users.
New Features
DIRECT MESSAGING Leveraging RentHop’s 17-year reputation in the industry, the new profile page allows renters the ability to message you directly through the RentHop platform without needing to inquire on a listing. This feature is good for renters who may stumble across your profile page due to its ranking in Google’s search results and not be ready to reach out off the platform. Direct messages do not impact your HopScore. Read more about direct messages.

UPDATED AGENT PROFILE PAGE: As you can see above, we’re providing more ways to customize your agent profile page so that your RentHop page can host all the information you’d like to share with renters. With the new layout, we’ve included ways for you to highlight select listings, a subheading for your bio, and the ability to link to your social media accounts. Update your profile now to get the most out of these changes.
ELITE AGENT PAGE: For the Elite agents advertising on RentHop (users who have maintained an active Pro Plan for six or more consecutive months), we’ve adjusted the discoverability and search filters on our Elite Agent Page. The link at the top of the navigation bar brings users to a page allowing them to search and sort Elite Agents on our platform via languages spoken, company, and name.

Advertising Tips
| You repost a listing, ready to take advantage of a high-traffic time, only to find that the listing’s HopScore doesn’t reach 100. But what do you do to fix it? The first place to visit is your HopScore Breakdown at the bottom of your listing. |
![]() | To the left, you can see a listing breakdown at the bottom of a listing that shows that while the agent is a Pro Member and responds quickly to texts, they are slow to respond in general and have responded to only 66 messages out of 288 leads in recent months. This advertiser is also being penalized because many of the listings in their account have a low HopScore (quality). |
This is an example of an account-wide issue. The agent would need to go back and respond to missed inquiries and repost their listings to raise the HopScore on all their listings.
For listings where the HopScore issue is only with that listing (example: where the pricing or bedroom count is off), a row will be shown that indicates the listing’s data is incorrect. If that occurs, please double-check your listing is correct and then reach out to support@renthop.com with the listing broker blast or agreement that displays unit number, pricing, date, and any other distinguishing information.
