Create an Account
To create an account, you’ll need to do this first. Head to our site and be prepared to provide us with the following information:
- Email for your username: We recommend using an email where you are okay with receiving emails from our site and potential inquiries from renters.
- Secure password: Please keep this password as secure as possible for your own security. Avoid using passwords you have used for other accounts, avoid using personal information for your passwords, and aim for a new and unique password.
- A phone number: We recommend a cell phone number, however, a landline number works too! This will be another method renters will use to reach you.
- Your account type (“Describe Yourself”):
- If you are the current tenant then you should select the option “Subletter.”
- If you are a homeowner or property manager looking to advertise 1-5 rental listings, then you should select the option “Landlord/Homeowner.”
Once you have created your account, you will be taken automatically to your RentHop account. You may have to fill out your profile/bio before you are allowed to advertise.
