A TriBeCa resident for nearly thirty years, Paddington moved to the neighborhood, married an architect, and designed, built, and sold seven lofts before becoming a broker. In her nearly two decade career, she has been named both Tribeca Broker of the Year and Listing Broker of the Year and has had the distinction of reselling her first loft on West Street five times.
Combining innovative thinking with detailed analysis, she employs a measured launch strategy which maximizes Compass's unique tools: in particular, the Concierge program for preparing listings, and Coming Soon. She practices a full-service approach and offer their clients an immense list of referrals including everything from architects and attorneys to contractors and housekeepers.
In her successful real estate career, Paddington Matz became named the 1st year "Rookie of the Year", then TriBeCa "Broker of the Year" and "Top Listing Broker of the Year," a rare accomplishment. Her industry and professionalism have also led her to earn the respect and loyalty of her clients, her greatest reward.

Originally a New Englander, Paddington is the mother of three bright, vivacious daughters, 2 in graduate school, here and abroad, her youngest finishing up at Cornell , all 3 started at TriBeCa's PS234, then Lemann Prep, Laguardia and Manlius-Pebble Hill . Paddington grew up in the Boston area to academic parents, so finding a school that is the right fit means alot to her and she can be a resource for this as well.
Mara is a native New Yorker, born and raised on the Upper East Side. She loves window shopping on Madison Avenue, people watching while admiring the high end fashion, and enjoying the local cafe's that make the Upper East Side such a special place. On weekends you can find Mara Citi biking down 2nd Avenue or in Central Park laying on the Great Lawn with some friends, and usually ending her night out with a J.G. Melon burger.
She values creativity, transparency, and individualism. Her creative lens grants her the ability to interpret an individual's wants and needs and turn them into her client's reality. Mara has learned the value of real estate from a young age watching her family harness the power of real estate investment around the world.
