As a licensed real estate agent in both New York and Arizona with two privately owned local firms with substantial global networks, LaShawnda is able to assist clients with their primary, secondary, vacation and investment property needs. A self-proclaimed "transition consultant", LaShawnda is an expert in helping her clients through the process of making a new destination their home and understands first hand what it means to go through that experience. She is a problem solving go-getter who thinks outside the box to get things done. Her ultimate goal with each client is to get them from where they are to where they want to be.
Before embarking on a full time career in real estate, LaShawnda worked as an administrative professional, with nearly a dozen years as a senior executive assistant at a top three global bank in Midtown East. It was in this corporate setting that she became a master planner and collaborator, building a reputation for being patient, empathetic and an excellent listener who often hears the unspoken words as clearly as the spoken ones. A truth seeker at heart, she is always eager to share what she knows to be truthful and beneficial with her clients.
A resident of Harlem for the past 14 years, LaShawnda is a co-op owner and has intimate knowledge of the nuances of co-op restrictions and her rapidly changing neighborhood. She can help her clients wherever their needs take them throughout Manhattan.
In addition to real estate, LaShawnda is an author, publisher and photographer, whose arc of creative work encompasses faith, women and social justice. She also volunteers with legal, social, government and business organizations.
