It was an absolute pleasure to work with Dan! I am incredibly picky when it comes to finding an apartment and he helped me find one that matched all my criteria, including lots of light and great location. Highly recommend!
Honestly, there is so many things I can say about my experience with Dan! Firstly, he was highly responsive, and able to get back to me quickly with all the questions I had (and I had a lot). He was very flexible and always available via call/text/email, whichever was the easiest and quickest. He was also extremely informative about everything surrounding the listing; and if he didn’t know, he was able to quickly get me answers directly from the leasing office. Lastly, Dan is incredibly personable, friendly, and professional! I’m fairly new to the NY rental market logistics so it was really nice to have such a patient, resourceful agent! Dan made this process so much easier than other brokers I’ve worked with, and in turn, I’m pretty happy with the outcome of my housing situation!
We were trying to avoid paying a broker fee at all costs, but I think it was well worth it considering we got an apartment we love and had a great experience with Deyan Ivanov (goes by Dan). He was very patient, amicable and answered all of our questions. Knowing how quickly apartments get snatched in NY, we were pleased at how responsive he was to all of our texts and calls. We also asked for some flexibility on the move in date which he worked out for us by working directly with the building's exclusive broker. Even when there was a mix up and we were told the apartment we applied for was given to someone else, Dan was quick to apologize (even though it was not his fault) and reassured us that he would help us find another place.
Moving can be a stressful time, but all in all Dan definitely helped alleviate some of that stress and I would recommend him to friends and family.
Dan and Kosta are the most knowledgeable brokers I met. Kosta has very good connections with landlords in the East Village, Gramercy and Murray Hill, while Dan focuses on luxury doorman buildings. We saw plenty of both and ended up renting a huge 3 bedroom in a renovated elevator building.
I recommend you contact these guys. They know their game and will walk the extra mile to help you find the right place.
