Her unsurpassed real estate development credentials prior to joining Douglas Elliman included acting as a founder and Senior Director of Marketing of Halstead Property's Development Marketing, as well as executing some of the city's most groundbreaking properties including: 88 Morningside, 2280 FDB, 11 Central Park North, Northside Piers, 110 3rd Avenue, Steel Street Lofts, N8, 80 Metropolitan and over 70 others.
Amala has overseen the development of $3 billion+ worth of luxury condominiums in New York. Having previously served as a Director at The Corcoran Group Brooklyn, she is well versed in the ultra-luxury New York market, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Long Island City and Riverdale. What's more, she has lent her knowledge as an independent consultant to developers as a small Manhattan sales firm, to create, brand position, project sales and strategize pricing, marketing and public relations strategy.

Amala is a native New Yorker who lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Sarah Lawrence College and began her career in television production where she conceived and sold numerous program concepts to Viacom and BET that aired nationally for several seasons.
