"Laser-focused client servicing" is Michelle Amodeo's motto, and way of doing business. Michelle vividly remembers her move to NYC 13+ years ago, when an agent tried encouraging her to rent an apartment she couldn't afford. This experience has inspired her to do the exact opposite for her clients, and listen to their needs. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, Michelle earned a B.S. degree in Finance from West Chester University in PA. In her college years, she leased apartments owned by a local real estate investment firm, and worked with clients from their first inquiry to showing, to lease drafting and closing. This piqued her interest in real estate.

Prior to joining Citi Habitats, Michelle spent 11 years honing her financial savvy and eye for detail as an Assistant Controller at a hedge fund. She managed and oversaw the Fund Administrator's monthly financial statement preparation and net asset value calculations, as well as many other income and investor-related duties. Michelle is extremely analytical, and skilled in accounting and operations, which makes her an astute and precise agent. As importantly, she is honest, personable, and trustworthy – all the qualities you want in a professional partner.

Specializing in rentals and sales, Michelle works throughout Manhattan. She owns her apartment in the East Village where she has lived for the last five years, and she rented on the Upper East Side for eight years before that. Her favorite aspects of the city besides its unique neighborhoods are the opportunities it offers for discovering different cultures and learning new things. Besides trying great restaurants, Michelle likes to cook diverse cuisines at home. She has studied improv and sketch comedy and performed throughout the city, and she enjoys spending free time exercising, or with her family.
