Hannah Yukon is a hybrid multi-genre artist from Singapore and New Zealand. She received her B.A in theatre arts and women and gender studies and her M.A in Community Development and Urban Planning. She moved to NYC 3 years ago for her M.F.A in writing and graduated from Pratt Institute last year. She is a performance artist, writer, and musician. She works on the weekends at Circa as a cook and is also an after-school robotics mentor and a STEM instructor with the Girl Scoutes. Her chapbook ATOA: A Meditative Poem Through the Alphabet won the Southeast Inaugural Editors' Choice Digital Chapbook Prize. Her interactive game show called Who The Fuck is Cho Chang? received a showcase in June with Raw Artists, Wild Theatre Project and Contemporary Venice. In her spare time, she works on her manuscript, "Principles of Geometry: The Rave Novel" and her two-sided album called "Everything is Pencil". Her work explores mathematical configurations and cartographic data collection, the mind-thought-feeling triangulation of capitalism, colonial desire, and astrological synchronicity. She lives in Brooklyn with her cat, Micah and is learning how to make vegan doughnuts.
