Agent Profile
David Andersen has been immersed in all facets of New York real estate for nearly 15 years, most recently as a realty specialist for the Army Corps of Engineers, where he was responsible for real estate negotiations and contracts for U.S. Army facilities in New York and New Jersey. In that role, he oversaw the sale of the Admiral's Row portion of the Brooklyn Navy Yards and served on several flood protection projects in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. Prior to that, he worked as a HUD-certified housing specialist and in educating new homebuyers on the buying and lending process.

His breadth of experience means David is well-versed in all manner of transaction scenarios, from residential to land acquisition to commercial and investment properties, not to mention in securing government grants and down payment assistance for first-time buyers. David's clients can rest easy knowing that this extensive knowledge, his unerring professionalism and highly interactive approach mean they are being expertly advised at every turn.

David was born and raised in Long Island and has lived in Manhattan for over 20 years, currently in Battery Park City. An avid runner and member of the New York Road Runners Club, he ran in the 2015 New York City Marathon. David's real estate role model was his grandmother, a Norwegian immigrant who arrived in this country with little, but went on to purchase several New York properties. He says he will never forget her words of wisdom, "Everything starts and ends in real estate."
