I am renting out my East Village 1 bedroom apartment from December - March with an option to extend. (Move in date can be flexible )

The apt is furnished and renovated

4th  floor walk up, pre-war building

The apartment itself is very bright lovely and quiet- two big  windows that face a back garden so there is little to no street noise. You will have light on both ends of the apartment, with nice morning and afternoon sun. I also love this building, the front door is secure it locks. Neighbors always seem to be respectful!

Asking $3495 /month with a one month security deposit

About the location:
Avenue B and C is a great artistic pocket of the East Village - bars, restaurants, shops and cafes - all promote a close neighborhood vibe.

The apartment is a few  blocks from the infamous Tomkins Sq Park. Many transportation options: bus, taxi, citibike & subway (closest is the L train at avenue A).

The area is awesome- The 6 train is due west at Astor Place 7 minutes away, L train Northwest at 14th & A. F train is southwest 7 blocks away at 1st Ave and 1st street(24 hour stop) and that literally goes straight up 6th avenue to NYU, West Village- Penn station, Bryant Park, Rockefeller and finally Central park. The 6 Train is at Bleeker & another at Astor Place. L train on 14th Streetand Ave A. There's a new Trader Joes that just opened on 14th & C & 14th & A. Citi bike on the corner.

F SUBWAY TRAIN 3 avenues over on 1st ave and 1st. (Says 2nd ave but 24 hour entrance on 1st ave & Houston, 7 – 8 minute walk
J,M,Z SUBWAY TRAIN on Essex & Delancey. 9 Minute walk

M9 BUS Pick up in front of building. Takes you north to 27th & 1st or south to Financial district (South End & Albany)
M21 BUS Pick up 40 feet away on Houston. Takes you west to West Village, Soho & Tribeca
M14C BUS Pick up 30 feet away on C. Takes you north to 14th street then west thru Union Square hitting almost all subways and ending in Chelsea at 23rd and West side highway.
Citi Bike on the corner of Houston and C

NYSC on Ave A (2nd & 3rd )

EAST VILLAGE

The East Village is a buzzing hub of youthful energy and activity, boasting bookstores, cafes, galleries, and hip bars. Situated between 3rd avenue and the East River, with 14th street to the north and Houston to the south, this neighborhood is both stylish and laid back. Fun Facts and History of East Village

Like most of New York, the East Village started out as farmland. Until the early 1960s, the East Village was just the northern tip of the Lower East Side, largely occupied by German and Ukrainian working class immigrants.
