Newly renovated, on a high floor with wide open city views, apt. 27-E is ready for move-in.
Comfortable, quiet, this formerly alcove studio has just been converted to a true one-bedroom, windowed, with a working pocket door, and a closet for that bit of extra storage space.
A newly configured kitchen has just-installed granite counters and backsplash, stainless sink, and under cabinet lighting - there's a dishwasher too!
The bath is newly tiled, with a granite sink counter atop the new vanity, and a wide mirrored medicine cabinet.
Newly tiled wide-plank wood-look floors for easy care & maintenance, and the dressing area just outside the full-sized bath includes one of two spacious closets with a door to close for privacy.
If it's all about location we're close to everything: Whole Foods, Fairway, world class museums, restaurants, and just a short walk to Central Park. Close to transportation, too, thanks to the new Second Avenue Subway/Q train, as well as the 4, 5, and 6 trains.
All utilities are included - gas, electric, hot & cold water - and amenities abound: 24 Hr. Doorman, Valet Service, Bike Room, Garage (separate fee), Laundry Room, Outdoor Terrace with BBQ, Playground, and a N.Y. Sports Club next door (with a pool!) that offers resident discounts.
Please note that dogs are not permitted (Sorry).

The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence.
Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the
Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate
and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still
considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in
recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their
20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the
Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.
With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is
only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only
train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even
better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get.
All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no
longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.
The Upper East Side contains some smaller neighborhoods such as
Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie…

The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $3,100. This is a luxury doorman / elevator building. The manager allows pet cats but does not seem to allow dogs. As always, you should ask as early in the process as possible if you have any questions regarding the pet policy.
