This is a furnished short-term sublet from February 4th until the end of April. Ideally situated in the flatiron district, this is a comfy studio that will be a convenient base for anyone new to NYC and looking to move into their own place at the end of April. I am looking for someone who will also take all the furniture at the end of the 3 months. This will include a bed and mattress, a dresser, a TV, a cupboard, a desk and chair, a sofa, and dining table with benches. And a couple of side tables. This would be yours to keep at no extra charge. You can of course throw things that you may not need away or take them to your next place at the end of this lease. But the apartment must be left empty at the end of the three months. If you are very interested in the sublet but unsure about keeping the furniture, we can discuss.

Kips Bay receives its name from the Kips family farm off the bay of the East River. The area in the 1600's and 1700's, was mostly farmland. As the decades went by, more and more of the land was bought off to make room for city developments. For example in 1794, Bellevue Farm was purchased in order to construct a medical facility, and in subsequent years, parcels of Kips Bay Farm were purchased to expand the facilities.
