DESCRIPTION
Graciously proportioned two bedroom, 1.5 bathroom with beautiful prewar details and spectacular open southern views, in an exceptional doorman building off Park Avenue. Warmly designed, you enter into a welcoming foyer, continue into the lofty and light-filled living room, and then move on toward the second- and then master- bedrooms. Stunning sunlight pours in through oversized windows, and couples with high beamed ceilings to make the large rooms feel all the more spacious and airy.
Your sun-filled master bedroom has two exposures to the south and west, easily fits a king-size bed, nightstands, multiple dressers, and a sitting area, and has a very large walk-in closet. The second bedroom's spacious dimensions comfortably accommodate a bed of any size and an office area if you'd like to have one. And your fantastic living room offers plenty of room for separate sitting and dining areas. Separate windowed and beautifully renovated kitchen will inspire (or at least tempt) you to entertain and prepare grand meals. Ample closet space and built in shelves throughout provide storage solutions to avoid clutter. Windows in literally every room, including the master bathroom and powder room.
124 East 84th Street is an excellent and intimate building off Park Avenue, with 4 homes per floor, part-time doorman, live-in superintendent, laundry facilities, bike room, and storage. Fabulously located 2.5 blocks from Central Park and the Metropolitan Museum of Art (and "Museum Mile"); literally surrounded by abundant and world-class entertainment, shopping, and culinary options; and 2 blocks from the 4/5 express subways, 6-train, and cross-town bus.

MAP
UPPER EAST SIDE
The Upper East Side has a reputation of wealth and opulence.
Once home to the wealthiest New Yorkers (like the Kennedys, the
Roosevelts, and the Rockefellers), the UES is filled with ornate
and beautiful buildings. Today, the Upper East Side is still
considered one of the more expensive neighborhoods, however, in
recent years, it has begun to see younger arrivals (people in their
20s and 30s) who are finding better deals up north, away from the
Lower East Side and/or hip Williamsburg.
With the completion of the 2nd Avenue train, the neighborhood is
only becoming more accessible to everyone as previously the only
train servicing the UEW was the 4,5,6 on Lexington Avenue. Even
better, the further east you go, the cheaper the apartments get.
All this is only adding on to the interest from renters who no
longer have to commute for as long to get to the area.
The Upper East Side contains some smaller neighborhoods such as
Yorkville, Lenox Hill, Carnegie…
