I don't normally even bother with reviews, but when the service, person, or event is so far beyond the norm sometimes it is necessary. This is the case with Zheng. I cannot say enough good things about him. He was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, punctual, honest, and in no way "selling" me anything. He allowed me to make my own decisions, no matter how long or arduous the process became. In the end, I ended up with a perfect apartment and a wonderful experience. And considering Manhattan, this was a blessing.
I would recommend anyone and everyone to contract Zheng immediately if they need an apartment.

Zheng's level of service is exceptional. I emailed him and had an almost immediate response after the initial contact. I then told him via email what I was looking for and just a few short back and forth exchanges had a list of desirable options in my price range. We decided on a time to see a few apartments in one building that was in the location I was interested. I not only found the perfect apartment, but with his assistance was able to secure the apartment the same day. Zheng is a true professional and his dedication to his profession, again is remarkable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a "no fee" or any apartment.
I cannot recommend Zheng enough. He turned what should have been a stressful, confusing process into a really fun couple of days seeing several dream homes. I thought we'd be lucky to find one place we could afford that met our needs, but Zheng listened carefully to what we were looking for and set up appointments across the city in varying beautiful places.
Going with Zheng doesn't just mean finding the perfect apartment, it also means getting a tour of your new potential neighborhood(s), an introduction to the best restaurants of every kind in the area and a genuinely thoughtful friend in your corner. He even walked us to the nearest subway of our chosen apartment and timed the commute so we'd know what it would be like to get to work every day.
Little things like that (and the fact that he answers all your emails right away) make choosing Zheng as your broker a no-brainer. There's no better way to find your new home in NYC.

Zheng is very nice and friendly. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns in a timely manner. He showed me several apartments in East Village and Upper East Side. He compared the advantages and disadvantages of those apartments.
I have had shitty brokers before and they would give me half-false information in order to get the commission. However, Zheng is always candid and gives me recommendations based on my needs. I really appreciate that since it is so hard to find a nice and responsible broker in NYC!
I would recommend Kane Wang as a great broker. He explained the no fee and fee apartments to me in advance. Everything is very clear and no hidden fees.
Zheng Zuo is a God sent in a city like NYC, where brokers are slimy and only care about their bottom line. He is one of the best people we have met and are so happy that we met him. Zheng is available at all hours of the day or night, has not only helped us with our apartment search but also has given us a lot of great insights on the city's neighborhoods, etc. He has educated us!
We really didn't know many people in the city and he became like family. He always has your best interest and will go above and beyond to help you find your home. He asked us what we liked, and what we were looking for, then he showed us the options but didn't overwhelm us with a bunch of unnecessary choices. He narrowed it down in the end to 5 options that met our top criteria while keeping our budget in mind. Like another agent we worked with before, he didn't show us places that were out of our budget!
