Having owned and rented several apartments in New York City over the past 30 years, Spencer understands that you can't force it when it comes to finding "the one." It takes time, patience, an open mind, and a great agent to guide you. "I know it's extremely important that you love where you live and have a place that's your haven after a long busy day in the city. That's why I got into real estate; to help you find just that."
Raised in New Jersey, Spencer graduated from what was then Trenton State College (now the College of New Jersey) with dual majors in Communications and English Literature. He began his professional career doing sales and distribution in the music industry, and transitioned into advertising in 2000 with a focus on outdoor media planning and buying.
His extensive background in sales, marketing, advertising, negotiations and client relations serves him extremely well in his real estate practice. Spencer works with rental customers throughout all of Manhattan, with a particular specialty towards downtown on the west side where he has always resided (never further north than 16th Street). Prior to his current home in the Financial District, he enjoyed living in the Battery Park City, Meat Packing and Union Square neighborhoods.
In his free time, Spencer enjoys catching up with family and friends, exploring new restaurants and getting to the gym regularly. He recently adopted a rescue dog, Mason, an American Staffordshire Terrier who quickly became his world.
