If you are looking for a home in NYC, I highly recommend working with Phil Parker! My husband and I recently relocated to the city, and I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about working with a realtor in an incredibly tight rental market. I had heard so many horror stories, but Phil had put us at ease well before we had the chance to meet in person. Phil checked in with us a couple of times before we made the trip to tour apartments, he was an exceptional listener and made sure every property we saw fit everything on our list, including of course, location which was incredibly important to us.
Phil has a wealth of knowledge about NYC neighborhoods, and knows a lot about building safety and city building guidelines given his background as a firefighter. I appreciated his steering us from places that would not work for us even if they were on the higher end of our budget, a testament to his integrity and genuine desire to ensure his clients find a happy home. He's incredibly kind, and transparent. We are happily settled in a place that checks everything on our list, and Phil went to bat for us to help us secure a longer lease for the right price. We hope to buy a home in the city in the coming years, and we know for sure that we will be giving Phil a call.
We were very fortunate to have found Phil Parker to assist us in locating an apartment for us in Brooklyn. He worked tirelessly to find options that met are unique needs. We agreed on a host of properties for him to show us and we met in Brooklyn to see them all in one day. There are few people that I “highly recommend” as true professionals in their field, but Phil Parker is definitely one of them. Besides the fact that he was quick to reply with many rentals for us to consider, the day he showed us around town, he was constantly checking on new listings, contacting other agents and finding answers to questions before we even asked. He was fun, kind, polite and easy going and yet at all times was a true business man doing an incredible job as a real estate agent representing The Corcoran Group better than ever could have been expected. On our one and only day of touring apartments we found our dream apartment and began the application process. Phil guided us day and night through it all. Texts, emails, & phone calls were all answered immediately with grace and humor. He never made us feel like we were bothering him, even though we felt guilty for doing so. He ended each conversation with “please don’t hesitate to call if you need anything” and he meant it! We could not have felt more fortunate to have had Phil as our agent and would recommend him to anyone and EVERYONE looking for an apartment in Brooklyn or in NYC. Phil was a pleasure to work with and great every step of the way helping me find the best place for me - which is a stressful process in NYC.
Working with Phil was great! He was very hands on and responsive. I definitely felt that he had our best interest at heart when helping us navigate the apartment search process. Lastly, he provided a great deal of support outside of his main responsibilities. Even after the lease was signed he helped us through the move in process and served as a liaison between us and the building regarding other topics.
