Alex was really wonderful to work with. He was honest about all of the apartments he showed us: their positive and negative points, their price relative to the market, and their comparison to others we'd seen. We felt we could really trust him, and when we chose a place he worked hard to help us get a few things fixed before we moved in. He's been in touch to follow-up since the move and has been in general an incredibly responsive and reliable agent. We heartily recommend him.

Worked with Alexandru and Jonathan of Bellmarc, and had a great experience. Jonathan really went the extra mile to show my roommate and I the apartment we ended up signing a lease for. He went to see the apartment ahead of us to take pictures, tested the intercom system, even talked to residents of the building!
When it came to the process of signing the lease, Alex was very flexible and understanding. He made sure we understood everything through the whole process, and worked as a great buffer between us and the landlord.

A few weeks ago my two roommates and I were looking to rent our first apartment in Manhattan. We had contacted a few real estate agents from several companies requesting to meet during the week anytime after 6:30 pm (since we all work full time) which was a problem for most agents that we spoke to. One agent from another company agreed to meet us at an apartment for a 7:00 private showing, however the place was over our asking price and budget. It was also a two bedroom that could be converted to three. We did not like the place and were rushed out because it was late. We never even bothered contacting her again since we did not feel she was going to 100 % be able to find us a place.
The next week we contacted Alex and he got back to us right away. Alex took the time to meet with us quickly and had his assistant Oana show us apartments all meeting our budget and with three bedrooms. Oana met us at 8 pm on a Friday and went out of her way to spend hours with us. Oana is great because she showed our apartment which we LOVE and are moving into on Saturday! She even took us back to the apartment after we signed the lease so that we can measure all of the rooms.
Thanks to Alex and his lovely assistant Oana making the process so easy and enjoyable for us we found our perfect apartment! He also gave us tons of advise and suggestions to make us feel comfortable, and make our move a bit easier. We really appreciated this since it is our first time renting.

I had a very limited time to find an apartment in New York; I spent my first few days here rushing from one end of the city to the other looking for a suitable place to live. Once I called Alex and arranged an appointment everything seemed to fall into place. He was understanding of my situation, courteous and did everything possible to show me places that suited my needs that were within my budget. Once I settled on an apartment he liaised with the landlord on my behalf and was very professional at dealing with minor difficulties that arose along the way. A great guy and I could not have asked for more. Highly recommended.
