Born in New Jersey, Matthew Torrey has a BA in Music and a minor in Business from the University of North Texas in Denton, TX. While in college, Matthew had his first experience in real estate, working a summer job building houses in Rhode Island. In 2000 he moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn to continue pursuing a career in music. After a decade as a server and bartender in Manhattan and Brooklyn, he opened Matt Torrey's Bar in East Williamsburg in 2010. His years in the food and beverage service industry game Matthew a thorough understanding of good customer service and how it applies to all walks of life. In 2018 he decided to sell his bar and dive head-first into the real estate business. Matthew's positive attitude and ability to listen carefully and actively to the needs of others make him a cut above the rest when it comes to finding the right apartment.
