Born and raised in Bulgaria in a family of doctors, Marian ventured into a modeling career at the age of 16 and started traveling the world when he turned 18. He lived in Munich, Paris and Milan, Italy for 13 years, and is fluent in four languages: English, Italian, Spanish and Bulgarian. Marian also speaks conversational Russian, and draws on his international background to serve the interests of a diverse clientele. He fell in love with the East Village, where he now lives, when arriving in the States in 2014, drawn to it its European feel.
As a member of The Roger Erickson Team at Douglas Elliman, Marian's goal is to surpass the client's expectations whether they are buying or selling. He is tenacious, dedicated, and readily willing to help anyone no matter what their real estate needs are. "I always lead my clients in honesty and integrity," he says. "I have a problem solver mindset, and will gladly collaborate with other agents to get the deal done smoothly."
Marian's engaging personality and attention to detail have played a huge role in the success of his career. He thoroughly enjoys interacting with and educating clients, helping them make the right decisions. His natural way with people and creativity can be attributed to his degree in Public Relations and Advertising, with a specialization in psychology, sociology and consumer behavior at the University of IULM in Milan. Marian went on to exercise his talents further as a model for top designer brands, along with appearances on "Dancing with the Stars" and other TV shows. His love for fashion, design and architecture led him to also become the Senior Accounting Director of Eleventy USA, a luxury Italian clothing brand.
Outside of real estate, his main hobbies include extreme sports, a very important part of his life. He travels the world for kitesurfing, freeride snowboarding, free diving, and racing motorcycles on a speed track! Marian's everyday activities includes working out on the bars at the park and doing yoga.
