Agent Profile
Elisa Seeger

A first generation American with parents from Italy and Brazil– Elisa's grew up for the first few years of her life in the Boro Park area of Brooklyn, then moving to Midwood, where she lived until her early 20's. After a career as fashion buyer for department and specialty stores – she became an entrepreneur owning 2 businesses, first a motorcycle shop and then opening a clothing store, where she created and produced designs as well as building a custom motorcycle business. Her focus on customer service, honed negotiating skills, and a clear understanding of strategy and understanding the market helped these businesses thrive.
Prior to getting married she purchased a 4 family home in the Midwood section of Brooklyn, which she leveraged just a few short years later to purchase a 2 family home in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. As a homeowner, she understands first hand what's involved in investing in a home. Whether it's your first time around or you are a savvy investor, she realizes it's the client's most important personal and financial decision. Whether buyer or seller, this understanding breeds an unwavering loyalty and determination to find the best fit for each client's individual needs and to ensure the best possible deal. She is especially attuned to the needs of the first time home buyer, walking them through the process one step at a time, overseeing every detail to ensure the deal goes smoothly.
Elisa also understands the importance and power of smart investing. Noting the opportunity to capitalize on a seller's market, she sold her 4 family home in Midwood at a hefty profit. She used the proceeds to purchase a 2 family house in Windsor Terrace in 2008, a neighborhood whose value, rapidly rising sales statistics, good housing stock and proximity to Park Slope caught her eye.
Overseeing a full restoration of this property, along with previous renovations in her first home, has given her invaluable insight and first-hand experience navigating contractors, architects and the Department of Buildings. This has made her an invaluable resource for buyers interested in purchasing a fixer-upper, or sellers willing to do a few small updates to maximize profits, with return on investment always at the forefront of her vision.
In late 2016, she purchased a fixer upper in East Hampton and renovated it in 4 months.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, and growing up going into Manhattan, Elisa has a strong knowledge of the neighborhoods and housing markets throughout the boroughs. She resides with her husband Bobby, daughter Sienna (12) and 2 English Bull Dogs – Bubba & Buster. After losing her son Aidan, at the age of 7 in 2012, to a disease called ALD (adrenoleukodystrophy), she fought to have "Aidan's Law" signed in New York in 2013. New York became the first state in the country to test every baby born for ALD and through her efforts created through her son's foundation: aidanjackseegerfoundation.org there currently is testing available in 10 states. She also helps families affected by ALD financially. In January 2019 federal bills were introduced in Congress to enable ALD testing nationwide. Elisa is loves everything to do with real estate and enjoys music, occasional exercising, cooking, movies and travel on her time off.
She is thrilled to be able to blend her love of Brooklyn, Architecture, Design, and Real Estate with her vast sales and marketing expertise, and hopes to help you in the near future!
