Bernard Marshall's introduction to real estate came early on, and inevitably, growing up in a prominent family of developers and entrepreneurs. Though born and raised in modest southern Indiana, he ultimately moved to the bright lights of New York to follow in his family's footsteps, and pursue his passion for real estate in the most dynamic city in the world.
Along the way, Bernard honed an impressive work ethic, skill set and network of connections that would undoubtedly lead to his success. After studying Marketing and Distribution Management at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis on a soccer scholarship, and playing on the Division 1 Men's Soccer Team, he was scouted by Wilhelmina Models and moved to Miami. This opportunity, which allowed Bernard to travel the world and grace the runways of several A-list fashion designers in Europe, also inspired his fascination with architecture and luxury living.
Bernard was subsequently drawn to the promotions and nightlife industry, and to NYC, where he signed with Fusion Model Management and worked with the well-known Pulp Marketing Group. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to open his own company, Bsquared Events, which evolved into a high-end lifestyle marketing, event planning and promotions label. Bernard's expert customer service skills and marketing ingenuity set the perfect stage for the transition he had long been interested in - to enter the exciting and demanding world of New York real estate. His diverse experiences and extensive knowledge of the city having lived here steadily for over 10 years gives him a distinct edge in helping clients find the most suitable luxury homes.
Currently residing in West Chelsea, Bernard specializes in luxury sales and rentals in Downtown Manhattan and surrounding neighborhoods. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, and a committed advocate for his clients' needs.

He listened to what I wanted and what was important to me. After we spoke he quickly got back to me with a list of options and price ranges. After deciding what I wanted to see and some of his recommendations as well (he knows the area and had firsthand knowledge of the amenities in the immediate areas) we went and took a look around. I fell in love with one of the apartments he had researched and recommended in Chelsea. Bernard, who was not pushy and or leading in any way, made the whole stressful process easy and quick. This is usually something that is a horrible chore he turned into an enjoyable experience that found me a home for hopefully years to come.
