Agent Profile
Having moved 3 times, in the last 5 years, Abhi knows what it is like to be on the client side and that is his greatest strength.

Abhi moved to New York City from Mumbai in 2014 for college, and has called it home since. He lives by himself in Forest Hills, Queens to be able to stay close to his alma mater, St. John's University, and his friends; but also have easy access to Manhattan. Abhi has helped clients look for apartments in almost every neighborhood of Manhattan, and in Queens as well. His degree in Journalism, and concentration in PR have given him the skills needed to ask his clients just the right questions needed to know what they need and get a better insight on what they are looking for. Being able to cater to a variety of needs, while being empathetic is what separates Abhi from the rest. His multi-lingual facet also comes in handy with international clients, as he is fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi along with English.

"No two clients will have exactly the same needs. I think we need to be a little more understanding of that in this industry. I really try to put myself in the shoes of each and every client. That makes a tremendous amount of difference. Whether it is someone looking for a studio or a penthouse. I like to see everyone from the tenant, to the landlord and the guarantor be happy with my service. And my end goal always is to leave them 100% happy with the apartment, with me, my service, and I basically want them to just be glad that they met me. I want to reach that level with a client where, the moment they think of real estate, they think of me.", he says.

Abhi has managed to manifest his words into actions very well, since a lot of his clientele is actually referral based.

"At the end of the day, this is a service industry where our knowledge is obviously very important, but so is the kind of service we provide. My job is to make the life of my clients, landlords, and everyone involved easier. If you make someone's life easier, they will come back to you again, or will tell someone that they care about to go to you. If you do a really bad job, the opposite will happen. And we do not want that at any cost. "

Having lived in New York for over half a decade, Abhi knows what each neighborhood has to offer, and what makes one better or worse than the other.

He is a firm believer in "early to bed, early to rise" philosophy, so don't be surprised if you see an email from him in your inbox at 5 am.

When he isn't working, he is busy exploring the different neighborhoods of NYC, watching the New York Rangers play, or is listening to a podcast or audio book.

Abhi also loves spending quality time with his girlfriend, or his best friends from college as often as he can. He makes it a point to call his family in India at least once a day, if not more. And visits them 1-2 times a year.
