From neighboring Bergen County, New Jersey, the New York City skyline sat in the backdrop of Michael's day-to-day life for as long as he can remember. After years of popping into the city for shows, exhibits, and fencing lessons, he jumped at the opportunity to work at a fashion brand in New York. Ten years later, he has made the city his home, having lived in Midtown West, down in Tribeca and Soho, and across the river in Williamsburg. He loves New York for its unique ease of life: the walkability of restaurants, laundromats, art, and everything in between; its proximity to beautiful weekend escapes like the Hamptons or upstate New York; and the quick convenience of the subway to escape to anywhere within the city, too.
Michael's experience finding his first apartment in NYC served as a stimulus to transition to working in real estate. To him, real estate sits at the crossroads of emotions and cross-functional skills that make every day unique. The process and search are fact-based, but the home and the experience are emotional, and Michael deftly bridges across these factors by providing service personalized to each client's needs. Collaborative, adaptable, and solution-oriented, his over 15 years of experience building world-class customer service teams and 4 years of experience working directly in real estate have taught him the success of running all interactions and touchpoints through the filter of, "How does this touch the client?" With a deep understanding of not just downtown Manhattan but the distinctive traits of all of New York's wonderful neighborhoods, he is persistent in guiding his clients through finding their next home to complement their individual way of life.
In his free time, Michael loves to travel as much as he can. He also enjoys learning new things through reading, taking classes, and attending interesting lectures. You can often find him roaming the streets of NYC, walking his French Bulldogs, or sweating it out in a SoulCycle class.
