Gabrielle Gilbert was raised by an amazing single mom from Guyana, S.A., who later migrated to New York and became a naturalized citizen for a better life for her child. Born in Brooklyn, Gabrielle moved to Queens in her teens where she still resides. An art major from youth, she went on to graduate from New York Institute of Technology-Old Westbury with a five-year Bachelor's in Architecture. Gabrielle worked in the architecture and interior design field for over 12 years as an Interior Architect. In that time, she spent over a decade in high-end luxury residential architecture, and about a year in hospitality, designing boutique hotels across the country.

Her other secret passion is playing The Sims game where she designs and builds houses for the characters to live in!
