DESCRIPTION
Newly renovated last year, apartment has great finishes including dual shower-heads, Italian gas stove & WASHER/DRYER IN UNIT. Each room also has it's own heating/Air-Conditioning (that's right, a/c!) unit, so you have individual climate control. Bed-Stuy, 6 min. walk to the C train at Kingston-Throop, or 10 minutes to the A at Nostrand.
Room in a 4 br. 2 ba. is 9'6 x 9'6 with a HUGE 6'4" wide, full height closet. You can see I've done a desk in here with a full size bed, but could easily fit a queen (without a desk you could even go King!) Also gets great light with the dual windows and feels airy due to the 8'9" ceiling heights.
I've been here more than a year and it's a great place – just moving to live with a friend. Other roommates are early 20's professionals, no pets, no cigarettes, LGBT friendly. Looking for someone to move Feb. 1, but could be a couple days earlier if need be. You'd be taking over the lease, which goes till May 31, so no creepy sublet situation. I'm planning to take the desk/shelf unit, but would be happy to leave it up if you'd like to buy it.

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT
Commonly known as "Bed-Stuy", this densely populated
neighborhood in Brooklyn is a busy residential and commercial area.
Surrounded by Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, Bushwick and
Willaimsburg, the neighborhood has an easy commute to Manhattan and
typically offers lower rent than its neighbors, making this a
popular place for young professionals and students. Those looking
to rent in this neighborhood can expect to find their home on
beautifully tree-lined, brownstone filled streets.
Bedford-Stuyvesant is actually made up of several
micro-neighborhoods. One of them, Stuyvesant Heights, takes its
name from the last Governor of the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam,
Peter Stuyvesant. The other half of the name, Bedford, comes from
one of the first major colonies in New Amsterdam. While Bedford was
a major settlement, Stuyvesant Heights was largely farmland, and
that was the relationship between the two settlements until after
the Revolutionary…
