This is a tremendous rental. I recommend you schedule a viewing today. It's a pre-war, spacious, quiet, one bedroom plus the Flatbush - Ditmas Park area is terrific.

You'll love the rental's large windows, hardwood floors throughout, and east exposure. Nice touches add to the apartment's lovely feel including high ceilings.

The windows pour in alot of sun to brighten your day even during a mid-winter day. In addition to the above, the unit comes with heat/hot included. The apartment has a nearby laundromat.

You might never need it with NYC's vast order-in options, but the eat-in kitchen was recently renovated and includes granite countertops, tile floors, and a window that opens. You'll find a gas oven, a gas range, and a full-sized refrigerator.

The bedroom has a window that opens and hardwood flooring. You should fit a queen in the well sized bedroom.
Inside the recently renovated bathroom you'll find a soaking tub and a standard shower. You'll find the window that opens in the bathroom to be a nice addition.

It's rare in NYC, at this price range, to find a building that's loved by tenants, well maintained, and leasing up fast. This building is exactly that. It's worth noting there's parking on street, clean hallways, a great super, and a front door buzzer.

FLATBUSH

Just below Prospect Park is the residential neighborhood of Flatbush. Quiet and calm, yet still close to the action, Flatbush is a popular neighborhood with families and young professionals alike due to its proximity to the park, fabulous restaurants, and easy access to other parts of the city.

Fun Facts and History of Flatbush

Established in 1651, Flatbush went by the name of "Midwout" when it was still a young Dutch Colony. Once the British took over in 1664, Flatbush became the central area of the new King's County, even being named the county seat. It would remain this way through the 1700's and most of the 1800's being a large hub for merchants and farmers.

Flatbush was incorporated into the larger city of Brooklyn in 1894 and subsequently turned into a residential neighborhood after 1898 when Brooklyn became a borough in the Greater New York City. Construction on new apartment complexes, mostly mid-rise art deco buildings, happened quickly as subway lines came to the area…
