DESCRIPTION
I am looking for someone to take over my lease for the garden level bedroom in a 3 bedroom duplex, starting June 1. The building was fully renovated less than a year ago with brand new appliances, central heating/AC, and rooftop access. There are great cafes/bars down the block and it is literally 20 seconds from the Wilson L stop.
The room has both private front and backyard entrances, direct access to the laundry room, and a private half bath. Upstairs is the living space, kitchen, full bath, and 2 bedrooms. The roommates are in their late 20s/early 30s, one female who works in sales and one male working in TV production, both are quiet and considerate. The garden level allows you to be as private as you want. It feels like a spacious studio, but for less rent!
The current lease is through June. You will be able to renew it in July with the current roommates for another year (or not if you choose). If you need to move out at anytime, the building management is flexible and just asks that you find a replacement.
Management will require an application and credit check.

Some of the roads traversed by hipsters and artists on their
bikes today are trails cut by Native Americans. Taken over by the
Dutch, the land became food and tobacco farms, and then
transitioned into an industrial hotspot in the 1800's.
The factories of Bushwick primarily produced sugar, oil, and
various chemicals. These factories brought many immigrants,
especially German ones, to the neighborhood. These immigrants
opened many breweries and Bushwick was soon named as the "beer
capital of the Northeast."
During the late 1800's, Bushwick garnered more of an Italian
population as well, though industry still dominated the
neighborhood until after WWII, when many of the factories…
