DESCRIPTION
I'm looking for someone to take over my lease on an awesome apartment. It's a 3.5 bedroom/2.5 bath triplex Prospect Heights.

It's in a great location (short walk to Prospect Park/Brooklyn Library/Brooklyn Museum and all neighboring shops/restaurants) and very convenient transportation-wise: a 5-minute walk fro the C train; a 15-minute walk to Atlantic Terminal/Barclays for LIRR and 2345NQRBD. Bus is ten steps from the front door, and the G train is also within walking distance.

The apartment is newly renovated and has stainless steel appliances, a private backyard, a washer/dryer in unit, and reserved parking (additional garage available).

Taking over the lease, you'd have your choice between two rooms:

- Windowed basement room with half bath and private entrance (largest space in the house). ~$1100 in rent.
- Master bedroom with private full bath, walk-in closet, and windows overlooking backyard. ~$1265 in rent.

Roommates are three, super chill, male professionals in various fields. Can't say enough good stuff about the apartment and its current occupants.

After the American Revolution, Brooklyn's population began to grow rapidly, and the land of Prospect Heights was sold to the city in order to build housing.

The original grid for Prospect Heights was drawn in 1833 and constructed in 1834, based largely on how the land had been run by the farmers who settled there. However, Brooklyn decided, as streets were still being constructed, to lay a new grid all together in 1839. A deal was struck to keep the streets already constructed which is why some of the streets in Prospect Heights…
