DESCRIPTION
Available starting March 12th! This unit is a beautifully furnished European style flat that shares a bathroom with the unit across the hall. It doesn't have a kitchen, but there is a mini fridge and microwave. This private unit is in the heart of BedStuy in a 3rd-fl. walk-up located on the top floor. With your own private entrance, the first room includes: a/c, wall heater with thermostat, ceiling fan, micro/mini-fridge, hot water kettle, sofabed, work/dine table with chair, TV with in-demand streaming channels (HBO) and a historic view. The bedroom has a single captain's bed, iron w/ small board, table with folding chair and plenty of closet/drawer space for one person. The shared bath has a tub with a filtered showerhead. Runs on the A/C subway lines. There are a variety of cafes, restaurants, boutiques, exercise and social spots to discover less than 5 minutes walk. Apt. is a 20 minute train ride to lower Manhattan/Financial District. Perfect for a person who
enjoys a residential neighborhood, minimalist modern amenities and is a considerate neighbor (loud, noisy not a good match). But a good fit is someone who works long hours and entertains out. All we share is the bathroom when I'm in town, which is located on the same floor across the hall in my space. A respectful, clean, considerate and low-key individual is welcome. Utilities and Wifi included. No kitchen access. No pets. One month deposit required. One month broker's fee

BEDFORD-STUYVESANT
Commonly known as "Bed-Stuy", this densely populated
neighborhood in Brooklyn is a busy residential and commercial area.
Surrounded by Clinton Hill, Crown Heights, Bushwick and
Willaimsburg, the neighborhood has an easy commute to Manhattan and
typically offers lower rent than its neighbors, making this a
popular place for young professionals and students. Those looking
to rent in this neighborhood can expect to find their home on
beautifully tree-lined, brownstone filled streets.
Bedford-Stuyvesant is actually made up of several
micro-neighborhoods. One of them, Stuyvesant Heights, takes its
name from the last Governor of the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam,
Peter Stuyvesant. The other half of the name, Bedford, comes from
one of the first major colonies in New Amsterdam. While Bedford was
a major settlement, Stuyvesant Heights was largely farmland, and
that was the relationship between the two settlements until after
the Revolutionary…
