DESCRIPTION
An artist's loft re imagined - nestled in the heart of SoHo, this modern-one bedroom with home office facing the historical Crosby Street, isn't merely a dwelling , it's a time machine that takes on a journey from the 19th century cobblestones outside, all the way through the 21st century variant of a smart home with a virtual doorman. Lofty 11 foot ceilings, oak floors, and painted exposed brick, will be first to greet your eyes. Upon that, you will see how refined this apartment is in all of its minute details - ranging from custom solid wood doors and trims, to a Dual Zone Heating System, recessed LED lighting throughout the entire space, as well as an in-unit Electrolux washer/dryer. The kitchen is a sight to behold in itself, with a chef's island featuring Virginia white cabinets, Calacatta Nuvo countertops, and a Bertazzuni stainless steel range and hood. Wine lovers rejoice as there is also an under counter wine cellar. Corporate leases allowed. Pets allowed.

During the early and mid 1800's SoHo began constructing cast iron buildings in order to reduce the risk of fires, which had become common in the city. The buildings allowed for large windows and apartments. The wealthy elites of Manhattan called this place home until the invention of Modern Steel, which allowed for the development of skyscrapers.
