During the era of Dutch colonialism, SoHo was the site of the first free Black settlement in Manhattan. The land would remain largely rural until the draining of the Collect Pond due to pollution. Soon after, Broadway and Canal street were paved and people began to come in droves.

During the early and mid 1800's SoHo began constructing cast iron buildings in order to reduce the risk of fires, which had become common in the city. RENTHOP DESCRIPTION
The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $6,500. This is a luxury doorman / elevator building. Everything is still in great condition as the building only recently completed construction. The manager allows pet cats but does not seem to allow dogs.
