DESCRIPTION
Two Room Shares in a tranquil Three Story House in Forest Hills on 70th Avenue, close to Metropolitan Avenue. Available for immediate occupancy or June 1.
Short or long term. Utilities are separate from the rent.

We have two sun-kissed furnished rooms available in our 5 bedroom house.
The room with the green twin bed is listed at $750 per month and comes with a desk, ergonomic chair,  built in clothes closet + extra cabinet for storage. The room dimensions are 10 x 9 feet and there's one window and AC unit available for hot weather. The larger room is $850, measures 10.5 x 9 ft and has two windows (w/ AC unit ), queen sized bed, desk and large built in closet. Both rooms are on the 2nd floor of the house and are next to a bathroom with a tub/ shower. There is also access to a second full bathroom on the first floor.

This is a cozy and comfortable place to stay. The kind of abode that is a rarity in New York City.  The atmosphere at the house is quiet and harmonious, so it's ideal to study and read. We don't have TV's or loud parties at home.  All the roommates are respectful, peaceful, and tidy. We are looking for students or professionals to stay with us. There are 3 roommates presently...  one Phd student from the Graduate Center, a young advisor that works with international students, and an adventurous filmmaker/teacher who is currently studying at Hunter College. We are all in our late 20s and mid 30s. This location is close to all the stores, restaurants, and banks on Metropolitan Avenue. Trader Joe's is only a 7 minute walk. We are also in the middle of a cinematic neighborhood with old architecture and breathtaking gardens. Forest Park is nearby for access to a large green area. Our plants thrive here with all the windows, so please bring your green thumb.

****Considering the current situation with Coronavirus, ideally, we're looking for someone who works from home or doesn't need to commute using public transportation every day. We want everyone to stay safe and healthy at home***** NO pets please.

Forest Hills divided ownership of the neighborhood in 1908 when Margaret Sage, founder of the Russell Sage Foundation, bought 142 acres from the development firm. She christened the area Forest Hills Gardens and commissioned architects to build tudor style housing in theā€¦
