DESCRIPTION
ONE MONTH RENT FREE! Net rent = $994 = 1 mth free (Oct 2020) + $1160/mth (Nov 2020 through April 2021).

Live in a bright, affordable room in Hell's Kitchen in an apartment with two other quiet, respectful roommates. I have lived in this apartment for 11 years and love it - the only reason I am moving out is because I am leaving the state.

Ideal move-in 10/1, but can be flexible. Rent is $1,160 per month + $75/mth for utilities. THIS IS NOT A SUBLET. The lease would transfer to you, which means the leasing office will do a credit check and require the standard NYC application materials (eg, W2, paystub copies, letter of employment, photo ID).

Please text me at 917-568-6987 to schedule a viewing. Video tour upon request. Features include:
- A spacious living area, kitchen, and closet
- Very quiet apartment (no street noise, as it faces the building's courtyard)
- In-building laundry
- Shared rooftop
- Convenient to public transport
- Ideal if you work in Hell's Kitchen, the Theater District, the Upper West Side, or Chelsea
- Living space and kitchen is shared with two roommates (1 male, 1 female). You would share the bathroom with one roommate. Roommates are friendly, quiet, and respectful of space and sound.
- Windows (10' x 5') facing the courtyard

Furnishings offered: The room is not furnished as pictured - however I am happy to leave behind a dresser, and/or work desk for free (individual photos included).

This once feared neighborhood has become a friendly place to kick back and have a drink with friends.

The population of the area exploded in the early 1900's. Even so, the city didn't pay too much attention to the area, which led to increased poverty and crime. During prohibition, Hell's Kitchen was the site of several major distilling and rumrunner…
