The apartment is from the 19th century and has all of the character and charm you could hope for from the West Village. The apartment is on a quiet tree-lined street BUT only 4 blocks away from the 1, A, C, E, B, D, F, and M train, and less than 10 min walk from Washington Square Park! Also the path train is only 5 min walk as well.
The fire escape and rooftop are perfect for the summer. You can see both the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center from the roof (access always allowed). I've lived in NYC for over ten years in a dozen different places and this is by far my favorite apartment I've ever had.
My work is taking me to Florida and I'm trying to find the right tenant for the remainder of my lease. I have full approval from the landlord to find a sub-letter and the building is incredibly well-maintained.
The apartment will receive a professional deep clean before move-in. ***The price is for unfurnished, so if you are seriously interested in the furniture shown, please let me know and we can try to figure out if it's possible.

quiet tree-lined streets and the trendy and stylish vibes, it is
the perfect hideaway for many artists and celebrities. The West
Village is a neighborhood of free spirited luxury.
West Village, a subdivision of the famous
Greenwich Village neighborhood, can be found on the westside of
Manhattan bordered by Houston street to the South, 6th Avenue to
the East, 14th street to the North and the Hudson River on the
West.
You'll find 19th century townhomes as well as cul-de-sacs and
more recently some condominiums, though even these newer
developments are small compared to the standard ones across the
rest of the city. Off the grid system, the winding streets of the
West Village are exciting, if not complicated, to explore. You'll
get lost, but that's okay, because the streets are charming and
lovely.
