DESCRIPTION
Subletting a private bedroom, private living room and private bathroom in a 3-story Brooklyn brownstone with access to the backyard. The bedroom has private access to the street, so you can come and go without using the main door. The photos show the apartment as it was before the previous tenant moved out.

This brownstone has three floors. The top floor has the kitchen, a bedroom and ensuite, guest bathroom, and living room. The second floor has the private room, bedroom and living room that are for rent. This floor has access to the backyard. The basement floor is treated as a spare bedroom for guests, has an in-home gym which you are welcome to use (setup is modest, but useful), and an in-unit washer.

The apartment comes with a backyard and a grill. Gardening is tough as there isn't a water hookup in the back, but the space is ideal if you come with a dog. Street parking is always available.

About me: I am a 35yo gay man with two dogs who works from home. I tend to sleep early(ish) and rise early(ish). I enjoy cooking, I watch TV and play video games moderately, and am frequently at or near home. I'm looking for a relatively mellow individual to sublet the ground floor. If you have one, I'm completely comfortable with another dog in the home, provided they get along with mine and the dog is house-trained. Preferably, you'd be 30+ and a member of the LGBT community, but open to any good fit.

Apartment is available from mid-April, but I'm flexible on the move-in date. Applicants will be asked to provide a recent credit check. Move-in: $2300 first month's rent & $2300 security deposit ($4600 total).

Fun Facts and History of Bedford-Stuyvesant

Bedford-Stuyvesant is actually made up of several micro-neighborhoods. One of them, Stuyvesant Heights, takes its name from the last Governor of the Dutch colony of New Amsterdam, Peter Stuyvesant. The other half of the name, Bedford, comes from one of the first major colonies in New Amsterdam. RENTHOP DESCRIPTION
The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $2,300. The manager specfically mentions dogs are allowed but strangely has not mentioned cats. It may be an oversight or the building may really not allow cats. We recommend inquiring about the specifics of the pet policy.. The kitchen conveniently includes a dishwasher. This is a No Fee apartment, meaning the manager or agent should not ask you for a broker fee (there may still be deposits and other move-in fees paid to the landlord).
