DESCRIPTION
Why are you looking for a renter?

One of us has freelance opportunities in California so we're hitting the road west this summer!

What do you love about this place:

We love how much light we get in our living room and bedroom - the two ends of the apartment. Our entryway conveniently fits a coat/shoe rack right by the front door. We got this apartment when the building was brand new so the appliances are high quality and in great condition. We live 2 blocks away from the Lorimer L train stop, and across the street from Barcade and Starbucks.

What isn't so great about this place:

There isn't as much storage space as we'd like, we had to create more by getting a couch with storage and a lifted bed. (There is a closest by front door and in the bedroom)

Fun Facts and History of Williamsburg

Originally it's own village, Williamsburg has had a long history as a home for Manhattanites seeking a less-expensive refuge across the river. Because of the convenience of the village, the population grew fast. It became the Town of Williamsburg in 1840, and evolved again into the City of Williamsburg in 1855. However, Williamsburg was soon incorporated into Brooklyn that same year.

Once Brooklyn became part of New York City in 1898, more transportation options were added, making Williamsburg very popular, especially among immigrant populations. Post-WWII, it became home to many Hasidic Jews as well as people from Puerto Rico and the…
