DESCRIPTION
Sunny, fully furnished, 1-bedroom apartment is available in a well-maintained building. This is a 675 ft2, third floor walk-up. You are one block (3 minutes) to the F/G Bergen St subway station and Smith/Court Streets. All the conveniences (groceries, pharmacies, banks, shops, restaurants and bars) are steps from your front door. Live in the heart of Cobble/Boerum Hill and be minutes from Manhattan and Park Slope.

The living room is bathed in natural light most of the day. Enjoy the luxurious leather furniture, complimented by mid-century modern, teak wood decor. We've cleared out our credenza and wall unit to provide our tenants with maximal space to make this fully furnished apartment your own. We've chosen a few tasteful art pieces to give our place some charm but also left plenty of wall space so that our tenant(s) can personalize this home. There is a deep storage closet off the living room which is a great feature. The smart, window-unit air conditioner is 12,000 BTU and cools the place quickly. Both ceiling fans, in the living room and the bedroom, come with dimmable light fixtures, adjustable by remote control.

Enjoy a spacious, sunny, eat-in kitchen with plenty of counter and storage space. The kitchen is fully stocked with every convenience, including a Keurig, a KitchenAid, and a Breville microwave/air fryer/oven. There is a full-size gas stove/oven for your culinary creations. The collapsible kitchen table can be as small or as large as you need it to be.

The sunny bedroom has two windows overlooking a quiet back patio with great views of the high-rise towers of downtown Brooklyn. The leather-upholstered, queen-size bed comes with a natural latex-hybrid mattress which allows for incredibly comfortable sleep. We are supplying a blanket for the warmer months and a down comforter for the winter months. There is an adjustable, full-length, free-standing mirror and a clothes valet in the bedroom as well as a fully emptied dresser and a sizeable closet in the bedroom for clothing storage.

The bathroom features a bathtub with a rain shower and hand wand. The chair-height toilet comes with a built-in bidet. Plenty of storage is available in the bathroom as we added a slim shelf unit. There is also a sophisticated Tanita scale to help you monitor your state of health.

Wash and fold laundry, dry cleaning, and self-service laundry is directly across the street from your front door, for ease and convenience.

Heat and hot water are included. The apartment has just been painted with quality Benjamin Moore washable paint. This apartment is a move-in ready, fully furnished gem in a great location.

August 1 – August 7 lease start dates will be considered. August 1 is preferred.

BOERUM HILL

Hip yet peaceful, Boerum Hill is a popular neighborhood where families and young professionals go to shop, eat, and live. Surrounded by Cobble Hill, Park Slope, and Fort Greene, this neighborhood is in the heart of the action.

Fun Facts and History of Boerum Hill

Most of Boerum's colonial life was spent as the farmland and estate of the Boerum family. However, as Brooklyn expanded, the family soon had to sell their property to make homes for people. Row houses replaced the farmland between the 1840's and 70's.

Boerum Hill was largely a working class neighborhood, many people commuting to the industrial neighborhoods of Brooklyn as well as the Navy Yard. Even after the Navy Yard cut jobs and factories closed, the people of the neighborhood were able to stay strong and afford their homes, even through the Great Depression and the recession of the 1970's.

During the 1990's, homes that were formerly boarding houses started being purchased as private property as streets were listed as…
