Bedroom fits queen bed, large desk, dresser, and nightstand with plenty of room to spare - over 200 sq ft (has a closet with storage above as well). Building is across the street from Central Park. 1st floor. Laundry in building. SUPER CONVENIENT/EASY public transportation. Right next to express 2/3 train on 110th St/Central Park North, a couple blocks east to the 6 train and a couple blocks west to B/C.

If you have a vehicle, I park within a block of the building daily without driving around.

With internet, cable, electricity monthly usually winds up at about $1400.

2 roommates, both males one in early 30s and the other in late 20s. Relaxed, both working professionals.

Fun Facts and History of Central Harlem

Central Harlem began its life much like the rest of northern Manhattan, as farmland. A bit more densely packed than the rest of the farmland in the area, the British made sure to burn it to the ground during the American Revolution as American forces retreated off the island. Once the war ended, the rebuilding process for the area was a bit slow.

Things in the area ramped up in the 1860's and 70's for several reasons, including the destruction of a prominent black neighborhoods to make room for Central Park, railroads were built further north, and the end of the Civil War brought many black families north to look for opportunity and safety from theā€¦
