About lease and roommates: This is a sublease which ends March 1st 2019, but you have the option to renew the lease for another year. You will be added to the lease along with the 2 other roommates. The two other roommates are both male (upper 20s), one accountant and one a doctor. Both roommates are very friendly, laid back, and easy-going. The doctor is hardly home. I'm flexible with the move in date between December to January 1st. Room will be furnished if you wish.

Kips Bay receives its name from the Kips family farm off the bay of the East River. The area in the 1600's and 1700's, was mostly farmland. As the decades went by, more and more of the land was bought off to make room for city developments. For example in 1794, Bellevue Farm was purchased in order to construct a medical facility, and in subsequent years, parcels of Kips Bay Farm were purchased to expand the facilities.
