Perfect location in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, my place is a warm and cozy classic, with hardwood floors and newly renovated. It is on the third floor of a brand new luxury building on a very nice semi residential street block. The nicely outfitted place, has a beautiful totally functional kitchen and stove for cooking, generous amounts of pots, plenty of cabinet space, and a full size refrigerator to keep your beers cold from The Brooklyn Brewery.

The feelings are cozy, warm, simple yet elegant. The kitchen and living room are in the same open area. There is a dining room table that seats 4, a couch that folds down to become a very comfortable queen size bed that sleeps 2 - with a memory foam mattress. Beyond the living area is the master bedroom with two large glass bay doors with a queen size bed that sleeps 2 with a large window. Inside the master bedroom is a large tiled newly renovated luxury bathroom with enormous gold outlined mirrors and large tub with shower.

My location is beyond great and safe. 15 to 20 minutes maximum in a cab or car service over the Williamsburg Bridge and you are in Manhattan. It is a beautiful summer evening walk (30 min) to the North 6th Street East River Ferry ( the scenic quick river route to Midtown Manhattan or lower Manhattan, please check schedules). Subways: L train ( gray line): Third stop in Brooklyn, only 2 stops to Manhattan and a neat 5 minute walk from my place going by shops, restaurants and street vendors to the very frequent Graham L train subway stop (Everything you want to pick up to take back to my place is on Grand Street or Graham Avenue which are the walking routes to the subway. (Among the small shops, restaurants and bars, there is now a beautiful supermarket called "Graham Market") The JM subway that goes over the Williamsburg Bridge with wonderful views of the river and NYC skyline to lower Manhattan (Chinatown etc), is a little further (12 min walk ) through the South Side.

After a night out in the neighborhood, you will find this quiet, comfortable, timeless place to come home to that is on the third floor of a brand new luxury Williamsburg apartment complex. Only 9 apartments in the entire building with one neighbor and two private entrance doors. All East River parks are a short walk away with their spectacular river and skyline views. During the warm months the weekend flea/food markets down Kent Avenue/North 8 on weekends are fun and back dropped by the river and Manhattan skyline.

Grand Street River Park is about a 25 minute walk through one of the best Brooklyn neighborhoods. I love going there in the mornings with a cup of tea and taking in the NYC view. The quaint restaurants and music clubs are amazing and abundant. Honestly the only reason I would leave the "Burg" would be to go to a museum, St. Patrick's, Central Park with my boyfriend, Grand Central's Oyster Bar or visit the tree at Christmas time Rockerfeller Center and of course work.

Indoor Flea Market on North 7th right off Kent Ave, "Mast Brothers Chocolate" on North 3rd off Berry, "Beer Garden" restaurant lunch, dinner, brunch with live music on Friday nights on North 3rd and Berry, "Sea" restaurant (Thai) on North 6, "Sweet Water" (Bistro) restaurant on North 6, "Dumont Burger" for awesome burgers on Bedford between South 2-3, "Aurora" (Northern Italian) with great brunches, lunches and dinners is a quick Uber ride or walk or train hop right around the corner to visit "Coxley's" sport bar with 40 beers on tap and great chicken wings on Grand St. "Teddy's" rest and bar (American Bistro) on North 8, a landmark that serves brunch, lunch and dinner and also has music sometimes at night, and the "Knitting Factory" music performance space and bar is not too far away on Metropolitan.

The best NY steak house, "Peter Luger's" reservations only, is in the vicinity. It is "cash" only.

The floor is divided in 4 areas: upon entering you are in the kitchen and living, dining room with a wall and door that separates this space from the bedroom in the front, the large tiled bathroom and the same sized other front bedroom. The living area can easily convert to a sleeping area for 2. The place is adorable and sleeps six comfortably. Much quieter than most places in the area.

Full laundry is in the basement if you need to throw a load in.

WILLIAMSBURG

Famous outside of NYC, Williamsburg is a rapidly growing neighborhood known for a large population of young artists, indie rockers, hipsters and a diverse community. Surrounded by Greenpoint, Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, and Navy Yard, Williamsburg is a bustling neighborhood with a lot to offer.

Fun Facts and History of Williamsburg

Originally it's own village, Williamsburg has had a long history as a home for Manhattanites seeking a less-expensive refuge across the river. Because of the convenience of the village, the population grew fast. It became the Town of Williamsburg in 1840, and evolved again into the City of Williamsburg in 1855. However, Williamsburg was soon incorporated into Brooklyn that same year.

Once Brooklyn became part of New York City in 1898, more transportation options were added, making Williamsburg very popular, especially among immigrant populations. Post-WWII, it became home to many Hasidic Jews as well as people from Puerto Rico and the…
