DESCRIPTION
Listing description:
   Hello All!

Looking for a fun, easygoing person (M/F/NB) to take over a spacious room in a four-bed at the McKibbin Lofts in Bushwick. The agreement is month to month and would start on July 1st and last through October 31st. For an extension you will need to discuss directly with the landlord. All utilities are included in above price (internet too). Building is a super close walk/train ride to great bars, coffee shops, and venues (Elsewhere, House of Yes, Brooklyn Steel), several grocery stores and bodegas, and great restaurants (Robertas, Ichiran etc)! The building itself is also right above a great drag/gay bar "The Vault". Lots of fun people in the building and great neighbors & roommates. You will also have year round access to a huge roof (it's a GREAT roof!).

Closest train is the Morgan Ave. L (5 min walk), then the J/M (10 minute walk), and G train (15 min). Laundry is in building, plus huge freight elevator to help you move in (apt. is on 4th floor), and a bike room for storage! You would be living with two males and a female, and one kitty named Ulysses. No additional pets or couples please. There are four rooms, one bathroom, and a spacious shared space pictured in photos.

About the room: TONS of natural light (willing to leave curtains behind!), it is the biggest room in the apartment. Also comes with an AC unit in the room, plus a few shelves/a hanging rack. No closet - but lots of room for furniture/a dresser etc. Also plenty of space in apartment for storage. DM if you have questions or are interested. I'd be happy to setup a viewing!

Thanks :)

Famous outside of NYC, Williamsburg is a rapidly growing neighborhood known for a large population of young artists, indie rockers, hipsters and a diverse community. Surrounded by Greenpoint, Bushwick, Bedford-Stuyvesant, Clinton Hill, and Navy Yard, Williamsburg is a bustling neighborhood with a lot to offer.

Fun Facts and History of Williamsburg

Originally it's own village, Williamsburg has had a long history as a home for Manhattanites seeking a less-expensive refuge across the river. Because of the convenience of the village, the population grew fast. It became the Town of Williamsburg in 1840, and evolved again into the City of Williamsburg in 1855. However, Williamsburg was soon incorporated into Brooklyn that same year.

Once Brooklyn became part of New York City in 1898, more transportation options were added, making Williamsburg very popular, especially among immigrant populations. Post-WWII, it became home to many Hasidic Jews as well as people from Puerto Rico and theā€¦
