Currently vacant and previous leasee was "Family Dollar"for over 20 years which is just around the corner with a larger space. Per Blue Island, "No liquor license" to be granted. City of Blue Island looking for new tenants with a nice business model. Once we get a new tenant we can apply for a new classification for our taxes on the building, if we can reduce our taxes we may be able to adjust the rental price. Right now we can not get the new classification until we have a new tenant going into the facility per village. We Had the Village Inspection done for Leasing and they gave us a long list of items that we have to do before we can lease the property. Starting with,  the Building will have a New Roof installed/ 2 New HVAC units that will be put on the roof/ All New Plate Glass Window's. Entire building will be cleaned and painted/ all old electronics will be removed/ One of the Bathroom's will be modify for ADA use/ building will be tuckpointed and front awning will be removed. All of this work will be done by 05/31/23. Once all that work is completed the Village will come back out to give the building a final reinspect.

The apartment is a unit offered at a monthly price of $13. The person posting the listing did not specify that any pets were allowed. It may be the case that pets are ok and the manager simply has not yet filled out all the details.
