DESCRIPTION
Listing description:
We're looking for someone to sublease our one-bedroom apartment in Nolita.

The apartment is on the first floor (no stairs!), will be furnished (including a window AC unit), and has a patio!

Located near EVERYTHING! On Mulberry Street between Prince and Spring. One block away from the 6 train, and 2 blocks away from the RW and the BDFM on Houston. Two blocks away from shopping in SoHo, 2 blocks away from eating your bodyweight in carbs in Little Italy, 5 short blocks away from China Town, and walking distance to both the West Village and the Lower Eastside. This apartment is literally in the center of EVERYTHING. There's food and brunch spots, literally outside your door and a brand new grocery store (Mulberry Market) that just opened up across the street that has, again, EVERYTHING you'll ever need.

The apartment has a laundromat inside the building, but also, conveniently enough, if you're like me and don't want to do your own laundry- there's a place next door and another across the street that offers wash and fold services.

Looking for someone to take over my lease in June that ends in January (7 months commitment) with an option to move in sooner. Rent is $3000 plus utilities (about $150 a month). Require 1st and last month to move in.

NOLITA

North of Little Italy, which is where the neighborhood gets its name, Nolita is a hip and trendy neighborhood full of unique boutiques and great bites to eat. Though she be little, she is fierce, and the people who frequent this neighborhood keep coming back for the vibe.

Fun Facts and History of Nolita

Nolita is a neighborhood that's struggled with it's identity before finding the right fit. Originally part of Little Italy, Italian restaurants and grocers lined the busy streets here. However, Little Italy began to shrink for a variety of reasons in the 1950's. So, even though the San Gennaro Festivals still somewhat takes place in the area every year, its other italian roots have long since vanished.

The people moving to this neighborhood were young, upscale professionals, which is why boutiques and eateries began to pop up seeking to draw more of them in. For this reason, people in the real estate game tried to pitch the neighborhood as part of SoHo. However, the architecture…
