DESCRIPTION
The history of Harlem has great depth. Multinational, cultural, racial et cetera. Through this lens, we designed our 2nd property on the vibrant St. Nicolas Avenue in the Sugar Hill area of Harlem. The four bedroom 1 bathroom flat reveals a neutral palette as you walk into the entry corridor, featuring an original exposed brick wall. Down the hall to the right your encounter the main living area and kitchen. The living room features a grey upholstered sofa and glass coffee table. In the corner is a quaint breakfast nook for two, perfect for meals knocking out some work.

Each room in the home has been designed with a pop of color to have a mood of its own. The first room of the home features a muted blue-green accent wall and an black tufted full bed. With walnut accents throughout you'll certainly feel cozy. The room also features a convenient wall mounted folding desk and chair. The second room of the home mixes its contemporary styling with mid-century modern touches. A green accent wall and grey upholstered bed perfectly compliment each other and pair well with the white accent pieces. The room also features a reach in closet, nightstand, and folding desk. The third room in the flat features a sage green color accent wall with a metal full-bed. Defined by its round area rug and minimalist art, this room make home feel more like an experience. The room also features a folding desk and reach in closet. The largest room in the property defines Harlem living at its best. A dark blue wall and minimalist art hang behind the leather upholstered bed. Two nightstands flank the stately bed and also maximizes the room's storage. A desk, chair, and accent chair in complete this room making it as functional as it is aesthetically pleasing.

HARLEM

Harlem is enormous. Stretching from the East and Harlem Rivers all the way to the Hudson, Harlem has three micro-neighborhoods that make up this huge area. Fun Facts and History of Harlem

Harlem is so huge that each spot has its own unique history. For example, West and Central Harlem were burned to the ground during the American Revolution, whereas East Harlem wasn't really developed until the 1860's. However, one fact remains consistent for all of Harlem: That the population of the area exploded once a prominent Black neighborhood was destroyed to make room for Central Park.
