I am looking for a roommate starting ASAP at this sweet little newly updated bungalow in Aurora. I would love a move in date sometime between now and mid-February. The house is between Stanley Marketplace and Anschutz/Children's Hospital (a mile from each), and walkable/bikeable to several neighborhood parks, farmers' markets, Denver Urban Garden, neighborhood coffee shops, historic Aurora Cultural Arts District, and Moorhead Rec Center (with outdoor water slide!, See below for more location info). The house is clean and bright, highly functional with thoughtful details, a fully stocked kitchen (dishwasher, sink disposal, glass cooktop, granite countertops), shiplap walls, tile and original hardwood floors, ample windows with natural light (room darkening shades throughout the house), outdoor patio, and wonderful neighbors.

I've lived here for 1.5 years and love it. I am looking to live with another responsible professional with great communication. Open to all ages/sexes/genders/orientations/whatever. About me: I am 40 yo with friends of all ages, and full time work from home with my own business. I am generally pretty clean and tidy, but not bothered by dishes in the sink for a day or so, or the occasional lapse in order due to busy-ness, etc. (I'm not a clean freak.) I enjoy cooking, working out, long, philosophical convos and dinner parties with friends, the outdoors, live music, and dancing. I am pretty adaptable and happy to live with others who are extroverted, or those that prefer more privacy and quiet space.

The place is furnished throughout, but I would consider moving bedroom furniture to make room for your own, and am totally open to adding your furniture to common areas. If wanted, I can provide a dedicated workspace and TV in each bedroom, as well as linens, super fluffy pillows, and towels. The house is pet friendly. While there are no pets here currently, it would not be a good fit for anyone with severe pet allergies.

The currently available room is the primary bedroom with an en suite bath ($1k - $1400/month, depending on lease length). Rent includes all utilities, e.g. electricity, gas, central HVAC, water, sewer, trash/recycling/compost, high speed internet, Netflix, and free/easy/close by street parking. Background check and income verification required.

More location info: Aurora is the most diverse city in Colorado, with residents hailing from all over the world. This means a wealth of languages spoken, diverse farmers markets, and international cuisine (all levels of fancy) steps from the door. Fifteen minutes from Downtown Denver, the location is walkable/bikeable to Stanley Marketplace, a historic airplane hangar with plenty of restaurant options, sweet boutiques, regular live music on the grounds, and a bike path through East Denver. Work out at the Moorehead Rec Center a few blocks away (complete with enhanced fitness amenities, indoor aquatic center, and indoor/outdoor water slide), and then cool down on the 10 min stroll back to the place. Take it easy on the front patio in the dappled sunshine under huge neighborhood trees and wave to the neighbors walking their dogs.
