The neighborhood is Crown Heights
A 10 minute walk to either the A train at Utica Ave or the 3,4 at Utica Ave
An extra fluffy kitty
Full kitchen
Microwave and Toaster

Many grocery stores within walking distance and a Superfood Town within 10 minutes walk.
No washer and dryer inside but a laundromat at the end of the block.
Heat, but no AC (You may be able to buy the AC our last roommate left from him)
We pay for wifi, and electricity. Last month every individual only paid 38$ for all that together.

The Roommates

Amber (Me)
By day; A superior barista, my lattes always have hearts. I hate giving them to people to drink.
By night; A published writer.
I am pretty busy, when we get back to "normal" you may never see me around. I usually have two jobs and school so I'm pretty much a ghost. When I'm stressed sometimes I go in the kitchen and make peach cobbler, and sometimes I share. I'm from a small town in PA close to the Amish people I've loved in the apartment with Dario for 2 years now.

Dario
By day; A knowledgeable book salesman.
By night; A beautician, and avant garde photographer.
Dario is a quiet organizer and all around peaceful soul. His positive energy will give you life! He is also usually busy, and in and out.

You
No new pets. Sorry
Willing to sign a 12 month lease
Our landlord is pretty flexible but a credit score of around the 625 range would be needed.
Not expecting a roommate/friend hybrid. We are very busy and don't hang out on the regular.
Kind and considerate of the people around you, that is all we ask.
Oh and you must be CLOTHED at all times.

CROWN HEIGHTS

Off the east side of Prospect Park in Central Brooklyn lies the diverse and lively neighborhood of Crown Heights. Mostly residential, this neighborhood also boasts a vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene that makes the area popular with young adults.

Fun Facts and History of Crown Heights

Crown Heights began its life a bit later than most Brooklyn neighborhoods, becoming a residential area only after the revolutionary war. However, once it got going in the early 1800's, it quickly became a haven for secondary homes of the wealthy King's County elite. This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.

While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.

The 1970's were a turbulent timeā€¦
