This single-family home was built in 1899 with only two stories and three units (one in the basement). It is quite charming with the original facade and many original details still in place, with updated flooring, cabinets, bathrooms, and kitchens. The building is very quiet and well-maintained, while still being very close to many stores. Also, the backyard space is quite amazing and a rare find!!
The building is in a great location! You are right in the action of Crown Heights here, in a very lively neighborhood with all the stores that you could need. It is just two miles east of Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum. The expansive Lincoln Terrace Park is just three blocks away, with another local park within 10 blocks, and a recreation center just blocks away. There is a deli, Subway, McDonald's, Dollar Tree, Blink Fitness, nail salon, urgent care, beauty supply store, pharmacy, Bank of America, and Chase bank all less than one block away! The 2/3/4 train is just around the corner, and there are many local bus lines nearby with direct connections to pretty much every subway line in Brooklyn. It is also just one block from Eastern Parkway, so it is very accessible by car, but far enough away that you don't hear any traffic at all!

Off the east side of Prospect Park in Central Brooklyn lies the diverse and lively neighborhood of Crown Heights. Mostly residential, this neighborhood also boasts a vibrant nightlife and restaurant scene that makes the area popular with young adults.
Crown Heights began its life a bit later than most Brooklyn neighborhoods, becoming a residential area only after the revolutionary war. However, once it got going in the early 1800's, it quickly became a haven for secondary homes of the wealthy King's County elite. This popularity only increased when train lines were extended to the area in the late 1800's.
While many of those older Victorian homes are still around, brownstone row houses were built in the early 1900's to thrust the area into the modern day. Around the 1950's Crown Heights began to see an influx of diversity with large populations of black and immigrant communities moving into the neighborhood.
