DESCRIPTION
Beyond the traditional brownstone facade lies one of
Brooklyn's most unique private spaces - a contemporary Soho loft
meets Historic Park Slope. Featured in The New York Times for its
stunning renovation, this one-of-a-kind upper triplex apartment is
a design-lover's dream. Unique to this home is the sunlight
streaming into every room, thanks to the innovative use of
skylights and soaring ceilings. Upon stepping into the foyer, the
glass paneled door reveals a light filled 41' living/dining space,
with exposed brick walls, Brazilian cherry floors, 11.5' ceilings,
plus oversized windows and doors. The generous eat-in chef's
kitchen features custom cabinets, professional appliances, and
large center island. Two doors provide seamless access to a small
private deck and lush shared rear garden below. Ascend the floating
stairs to the second floor where you will find a 30' living/media
room with a two-story atrium allowing light to flood the upper two
floors. Though vast, the second floor has a cozy atmosphere. Tucked
away is a large primary suite with double exposure to capture the
morning sun, a walk-in closet, ensuite bathroom with soaking tub
and shower. In addition, there is a separate laundry room with full
sized washer/dryer.The top floor has two large bedrooms with custom
built-in closets, 10' ceilings and clerestory windows to capture
additional sun from the huge center skylight. An open walkway
connects the bedrooms with a stylish hall bathroom, which includes
a double sink, bathtub, towel warmer, and tons of custom
storage. The townhouse is strategically located in the North Slope
with access to multiple train and bus lines, fantastic dining and
shopping on 7th and 5th Avenues, plus Flatbush and Vanderbilt. In
addition, Grand Army Plaza hosts the second largest farmers market
in NYC on Saturdays. Unlike anyplace else in the country, Park
Slope is at the intersection of a world class cultural hub with the
Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Brooklyn Museum, Prospect Park, Brooklyn
Library, Barclays Center and the Brooklyn Academy of Music all a
short distance away. No Pets or Smokers, Please! Parking in a
private condo garage may be available at an extra monthly
