Brooklyn Listings Under $2,450 in February 2023

While the New York City rental market breathes ever so slightly, rental prices still remain high across the boroughs. Brooklyn is not exempt from climbing prices but can offer units below the median going rate. With many neighborhoods that boast unique communities, local establishments, and apartment styles, renters flock to the borough to evade Manhattan pricing and seize generously-sized units.

This month, the average rental price for a one-bedroom in New York City increased to $3,949, indicating a cooling market that may continue to offer opportunities for renters looking to find a deal. While housing is still expensive, around 1,900 listings in Brooklyn fall under that price point, providing renters with units that still offer exciting features like stainless steel dishwashers, in-unit laundry, and plenty of natural light.
