This is where glamping comes in. Glamping is camping, but with as much comfort as possible while technically camping. Many of these tents and campsites have some lavish luxuries that will make some houses seem out of date, and there are many near NYC that make for a grand escape.

Located close to home, this glamping experience resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and is located right on the water. This rare urban glamping experience is perfect for dates, family trips, and even solo adventures for those who need a change of scenery. Full of excellent views, exceptional amenities, and even some five-star restaurants, this glamping experience gives you access to the entire island for a few days at a time. Luxurious tents come equipped with a private porch, fancy bath products, and even a continental breakfast that’s delivered right to your door. There are even fancier shelters that are temperature controlled, with king beds and deep soaking tubs. When you camp here, you have access to all the activities the island offers, and they can even be included in the purchase package when you make your reservation.

Located in Kingston, New York, this spa retreat offers a glamping experience that is serene and rejuvenating. There are several cabin experiences available. Queen cabins have a private porch, apothecary-style shower supplies, a bed, and an extra futon. The King cabins have everything the Queen suites have, along with a whole window wall looking out into the beautiful forest. The Cottage is just an entire house that you can rent out for a few days. The Brickyards are also a full spa, with catered meals and a tone of amenities that can’t be missed. This is the perfect vacation spot for large groups or just a few friends.

This secluded experience is located in Marlboro, NY, and is one of the most beautiful glamping experiences one can have. This house has gigantic windows looking out into the woods. This tiny house is only $160 a night and has many amenities like a fire pit, french press coffee, glorious bath products, and an amazing view of the surrounding apple orchards and vineyards.
